Pearl West – Portland, Oregon

Pearl West is a nine story office building located on a half-block site in Northwest Portland. The 230,000 square foot, nine-story building includes eight floors of office space over ground-level retail. Three floors of below-grade parking accommodate 150 automobile and 160 bicycle parking spaces. The building was constructed on a 100% speculative basis and opened in April 2016 at an 85% occupancy.

Pearl West was designed by GBD Architects, Inc. in collaboration with Hacker Architects, and was designed from the “inside out” within minimal columns that afford efficient floor layouts, ample natural light from large windows, high ceiling heights and constant tenant comfort.

The building is one of a handful of creative office buildings located in the Pearl District. It offers a central location, as well as convenient proximity to housing, retail, and the downtown. Amenities include an executive conference room, restaurant, living room-style lobby, and exterior pedestrian plaza.

Pearl West provides easy multi-modal access to all of greater Portland and offers one of the best vehicle parking and bike storage ratios in the city. The building’s exterior skin is a handsome brick, reminiscent of the great historical architecture found in the Pearl District.

The building sold July 2017 and achieved the highest per square foot sale price in the history of Oregon.
